Doubletree Hotel Warren Place – Tulsa Oklahoma
The Doubletree Hotel located in the Warren place Business Park in the city of Tulsa Oklahoma is a 400-room full service hotel that services the local corporate office business park, the large St Francis Hospital and is a favorite destination for major junior league sporting teams that come to town for championship playoff’s.
The project is part of a Commercial Office Conglomerate who has now begin investing int eh Hotel space and wanted a flagship hotel to spearhead his new division. Algiere Design & Purchasing Services, Inc. was chosen to handle the task due to the in-depth experience and vertically integrated service offering of its Design/Build approach.
The first thing to focus on was the reorientation of the main check-in for the arriving guests. The Lobby space was totally reorientated to provide a front desk greeting directly across from the newly designed automatic opening vestibule. The guest is immediately greeted by the attendants.
A new full-service bar with a Starbuck’s component was then created in place of the old front Desk and an expansion of food service seating and lounging was added. Throughout the main ground level spaces are many opportunities for private meetings, a live piano lounge, and just lounging spaces.
The hotel has an abundant amount of meeting spaces, a large indoor pool, fitness and backs up to a gorgeous nature trail, all available for the hotel guest during their stay.
The building stands 14 stories tall and the Algiere team redesigned and renovated all 400 rooms and corridors. Accommodations are modern, with new fully renovated baths including luxurious walk in showers and large work spaces int eh room for those on business travel.
The property is set for a new era of hospitality offering and the Client is delighted with his new flagship property.
Sheraton DFW Airport – Irving TX
We are proud to announce we are back at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel. The Algiere Companies have a new client and new design scope. The creative plan is to update and custom design the restaurant as well as create an engaging event center. Also under development is the new guestroom package starting with the model rooms. Our focus is on creating cohesive and stimulating designs to coordinate with the most recent lobby and feature lobby bar renovation to blend a beautifully crafted guest experience. Neutrals infused with cream, amber, dove grey, and indigo blue through the use of mixed textures and pattern adds spice to the casual elegance of this very contemporary palette and array of furnishings. Large-scaled light fixtures, bubbling water-features, circular banquettes surrounded by natural light help to establish an energized yet soothing guest environment. More than an airport hotel that caters to International travel, the Sheraton DFW has unmatched meeting spaces and elegant ballrooms capable of exceeding the expectation of any sized event or even the most particular of event planners. A true and rare gem within the DFW International Airport.
The State House Inn Red Collection – Springfield IL
Providing turnkey design/build services for this long-term client, The Algiere Companies were engaged to create a memorable custom designed hotel and guest experience. The design team embraced the challenge. The design narrative takes a modern twist to and a historical nod to it’s amazing heritage: Springfield, IL, “The Land of Lincoln”. The State House Inn is the esquire’s staple downtown gathering place as it is strategically and directly located across the square from the Courthouse and the Capital State House. This beloved property is also a local icon to the great state of Illinois. The historical importance appealing to all people and all ages. And so must the hotel’s design. It is welcoming, comfortable, modern, yet refined creating the most endearing hotel ambience.
Embassy Suites – Covington KY
As the turnkey/design build solution for the Embassy Suites Covington, KY Atrium Evolution Program, The Algiere Companies designed the atrium lobby around the narrative of “THE POINT “. All roads and rivers lead the trail to the city center – a convergence of business, banking, trade, education and big city life. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail and featured lobby bar design brings guests in from far and wide to celebrate the amber gold that made Kentucky famous. The hotel is designed in rich bourbon tones, deep indigo and aqua blues reflective of the Ohio River and Licking River. Enhanced by the warmth of natural walnut and sap wood surrounded by living walls and a water feature, the atrium design springs to life. Holiday Inn LAX – Los Angeles CA
New client, previous project, The Algiere Companies were engaged to provide turnkey design/build services to custom design the Holiday Inn LAX. Our goal was to accommodate the bustling International business of this airport hotel. In studying the guests and business of the Holiday Inn LAX we wanted to create spaces reminiscent of home and spaces where the guest could relate to a variety of experiences, evoke a connection – create a moment. As guests journey through the hotel, they discover spaces fondly nicknamed with terms of endearment and familiarity: the boulevard, the spot, and the sip & savor. Nicknames that invite an association, a kinship and impart a positive impression - hospitality. A modern mix of contemporary furniture stylings, neutral upholsteries with pops of bright colorful pillows, over-sized art, variety of textures, fanciful floorings and unique lighting were used to set the mood. We wanted to create spaces of interest and evoke curiosity. Spaces designed to welcome the Contemporary Traveler and to inspire them to wander with ease and assurance through the hotel, to discover comforts abound and to leave HAPPY.
Embassy Suites – Dublin OH
The second in a 4-hotel portfolio, The Algiere Companies provided a turnkey/design build solution for the Embassy Suites Dublin (Columbus) OH. Implementing a custom lobby design to highlight the Atrium Evolution Program, The Algiere Companies designed around the narrative of “LIVING LIVELY!” Dublin is a bustling community embracing rapid changes and expanding activities with new parks with flowing fountains, food & music festivals, or the National PGA Golf Tournament, The Memorial. Dublin, OH a community born from rushing rivers that carved out rock quarries. The quarries offered a source of stone and aggregate ideal for concrete and sturdy stone walls. Dublin’s first industry. The design acknowledges this history with the blending of slate grey, sandstone, gold dust, with accents sky blue and mixed live plants of dark and bright green bring the Embassy Suites Dublin OH to life. Exploration is alive and well, too, as Dublin is the unofficial Ohio center for diverse hiking trails. The Embassy Suites Dublin guest perfectly suited to find themselves Living Lively!
Delta Hotel Woodbridge – Iselin NJ
One of two Delta Hotels by Marriott under design contract with The Algiere Companies, the Delta Woodbridge in Iselin NJ was our first. The design narrative was all about the “ART OF THE STAY”. Iselin New Jersey is an unincorporated community located within the Woodbridge Township in New Jersey. The community name sake was Adrian Georg Iselin. Iselin was among the wealthiest of New York high society in the late 1800’s. Metropolitan Museum of Art, American Museum of Natural history, and the Metropolitan Opera House are among the list of art related establishments that Iselin helped incorporate. It was Iselin’s list of philanthropic endeavors that served as inspiration for our design concept “ART OF THE STAY”. Our design concept combined an artful built environment unveiled in a wide range of grey tones, peacock teal and degrees of white warmed by mixed woods. Regional foliage enhanced the design and weaved nature throughout the lobby. Spaces inspired by art and balanced with casual ease were interpreted into the hotel through layers of texture and color, accented by an art gallery by local artisans. The contemporary styling of furnishings and curated public zones were designed to complement the growing emphasis to “stay connected”. Furniture groupings of modern elegance and quite simplicity can be found in all the right places. All crafted for the ultimate in a guest experience, creating CULTURE WITH COMFORT - “ART OF THE STAY”.
